Winter road closures and snow walls

The Zao Echo Line is closed during the winter. Traffic is restricted from early November to late April every year.

Before the road opens in April, snow removal work will be carried out to create a wall of snow. This wall of snow can be seen from late April to mid-May, giving you the feeling of driving through a snowy corridor.

The snow corridor is nothing short of spectacular, and the magnificent scenery will be a memory that will last a lifetime.
