Overview of “Roadside Station Yoshinoji Kurotaki”
Yoshinoji Kurotaki is a roadside station with an impressive Scandinavian-style building located along National Route 309, located just an hour and a half by car from Osaka.
There is a product sales office and a convenience store within the facility, making it a popular place for local residents and tourists to relax.
A place to eat and relax at a roadside station
At Michi-no-Eki Yoshinoji Kurotaki, there is an eat-in corner with chairs and desks where you can enjoy local snacks and specialties.
In front of the entrance of the building, various foods are lined up like food stalls.
The menu has a wide variety of items, including some rare ones, so you’ll be spoiled for choice.
In front of the entrance to the building are vegetables and other locally grown products, to the right you can find souvenirs, and to the left is a restaurant.
If you go straight from the entrance, there is a large grassy area where children can play in the summer, so it is perfect for families to stop by on their drive!

Beyond the building is a grassy area. During the warm season, people are eating what they bought and kids are running around.
Kurotaki Konjac Mugwort Village
There is also a shop on the opposite side of the parking lot, selling the famous stewed konnyaku.
Its unique texture and flavor make people come from far away to try it.
This dish is packed with local specialties and is well worth a visit.
Here, the famous ”Kushikonnyaku” is full of flavor and delicious. There are also boiled eggs.
Nyu River
I think it used to be possible to play in the river, but it was now prohibited.
As mentioned in the guide, if you go to Mori Monogatari Village, you can also enjoy playing in the river.
