“Tanise Suspension Bridge” is a famous suspension bridge in Totsukawa Village, Yoshino District, Nara Prefecture.
Originally a suspension bridge for daily use, it is now a tourist attraction.
It is located on a side street off Route 168. (Previously, it was along Route 168, but now a new tunnel has been built.) With a length of 297m and a height of 54m, the view of the Totsu River flowing below is breathtaking! It is also popular as a camping area during the tourist season.

Tsuribashi no Sato Campsite
There is a campsite under the suspension bridge.
During the tourist season, you can see many cars and tents lined up on the riverbed overlooking from the suspension bridge.
