The “Shigi-Ikoma Skyline” is famous as a night view spot in Osaka, connecting Mt. Ikoma and Mt. Shigi. Of course, the view in the daytime is also wonderful, and you can enjoy it along with the challenging course.

The “Shigi-Ikoma Skyline” runs between the ridges of Mt. Ikoma and Mt. Shigi. In the map below, the top (north) side is Mt. Ikoma, and the bottom (south) side is Mt. Shigi.
Entrance on the Ikoma side (Hanna road side)
This time, I will introduce from Mt. Ikoma in the north.
From Osaka, there is a branch on the left from Hanna Road.
Of course, you can also enter from the direction of Nara. You can also enter from the direction of Mt. Shigi.
After a while, you will come to a toll booth.

If you go a little further from the toll booth, you will find the parking lot of Ikoma Sanjo Amusement Park.
Ikoma Sanjo Amusement Park and Antennas
There is an amusement park on the summit of Mt. Ikoma. If you come by car, use the Shigi-Ikoma Skyline.
If you take the train, take the cable car from Kintetsu Ikoma Station. You can also visit by climbing the mountain on foot.
There are also television and radio antenna towers. From here, it is a suitable place to send radio waves to all over Osaka.

Right next to it is “Touge no Chaya Suehiro“, but you can’t go there from the skyline.

On the route, there is a place called Observatory where the bell rings, and there is a parking lot.
The scenery from there is wonderful and you can overlook Osaka.
As a night view spot where you can overlook Osaka, it is often introduced in magazines and is super famous.
Jusantoge Pass
It is a mountain pass that connects Osaka and Nara.
Unfortunately, motorcycle are not allowed here either.
Shigisan Toll Gate
After passing through the Shigisan tollgate, you will find “Shigisan Chogosonshiji Temple”, “Kaiun Bungy”, Tokkuri Suspension Bridge, and a tourist hotel.
