That is the “Soya National Highway“. The section from Monbetsu to Cape Soya on National Route 238, also known as the Okhotsk Line, is one of the longest touring routes in Hokkaido and promises moments of contact with nature and excitement.
Motorbike touring is in summer, but it seems that you can see drift ice in winter.
