Kanmon Bridge is a road bridge that spans the Kanmon Strait, connecting Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture and Moji Ward, Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
Opened in 1973, with a length of 1,068 meters and a maximum span of 712 meters, it was the longest suspension bridge in Japan and the East at the time.
