“Kakioko” is okonomiyaki containing oysters. Oyster farming is said to be popular in Okayama.
It is said that oysters were originally eaten by fishermen, who would take home oysters that were too small to ship and eat them in okonomiyaki.

Reviwe
When I got hungry, I found a shop along Route 2, which runs through Okayama Prefecture, so I stopped by. Appears to be a local favorite and recently renovated.
▲The menu is extensive and everything you order is delicious. It’s not in the image, but I got it because it was a great opportunity.
