About terrain
Aragishima is located on a tongue-shaped plateau that spreads inside the meander topography of the Arida River, and large and small paddy fields spread out in a stepped fan shape.
The total area is about 24,182 square meters, and its beautiful scenery is enough to decorate the cover of Shimizu-cho’s tourist information pamphlet.
This scenery is considered to be one of the most beautiful rural areas in Japan, and has won the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award.

Observation space
