What is Tsuge Mountain Road?
The Tsuge Mountain Route is an unexplored route located in Nara Prefecture, and is known for passing next to the Meihan National Highway Omega Curve.
This route is a shortcut in a straight line from Tenri Higashi IC to Fukuzumi IC, and although it is close in distance, it is not commonly used because it is a challenging mountain road that can barely be passed by light vehicles. Not.
Route overview
This time I attacked from Fukuzumi IC.
Point 1
For a while after entering Tsuge Mountain Road, you will see fields for a while, but after driving a little further you will reach an area where trees grow thickly.
In the section adjacent to the Meihan National Highway, you can clearly see passing cars as shown in the image below.
Point 2
After a while, it will split into two directions.
If you go straight, the route becomes a tunnel and passes under the Ω curve of the Meihan National Highway.
If you go left, the route will follow the Ω curve. It doesn’t matter which one, as we will meet up later.
Going straight is shorter, but this time I took the left route.
Point 3
Run next to the Ω curve.
It can be said that it is an attractive road that satisfies the adventurous spirit of traveling through a unique course.
