There seems to be a parking lot, but it seems that it can be used from 8:30 in the morning to 5:00 in the evening. BBQs and fireworks are prohibited.
Hotaru no Sato is a park where you can enjoy playing in the river along the Haraegawa River. There is also a slide that uses the rich water of the Haraigawa River, so both adults and children can enjoy playing in the river all day long. The 2m high and 3.5m long waterslide is very popular with children! A gently sloping revetment and stepping stones using natural stones are installed, making it an easy-to-use space while preserving the natural atmosphere.
Built in 1839 in the latter half of the Edo period, it is a thatched roof house with 20m girder rows and 11m beam spacing. The owner, the Naganuma family, served as the local village headman throughout the Edo period. When you look at the interior, you can see that large old wood is used abundantly, and you can feel the history in each pillar. From the atmosphere, you can imagine the situation and role of Shoya at that time.
